2g side skirts question

i did a vfaq and a search but couldnt find the exact differences between ALL the different sideskirts of the 2Ga, 2Gb and the various models (gsx, gst, gs, rs)

are the 97-99 gsx sideskirts the same as the 95-96 gsx sideskirts? thanks for the help

No 97-99 side skirts and also door caps was a little different than 95-96 side skirts was painted with 2 dipperent color, the upper part has the same color of the car, the lower part was dark gray.

Heres what I know:

2Ga's: The RS's didnt come with sideskirts, the GS's did, and they were the rounded off sideskirts and they were the same color as the car. The GST's and GSX's came with a grey stripe all the way around the bottom. This made the bottom half of the sideskirt grey. They did this to denote that the car was turbo, because in 95 there was no turbo wing. If you want to see those, look in my gallery.

2Gb's: Again, the RS's didnt come with sideskirts, the GS's/GST's/GSX's all came with the same sideskirt that was painted the same color as the car. They are the more squared off sideskirts. They did away with the grey stripe in 97 and added the turbo wing to denote that the car was turbo. Then, in 99 they introduced the '99 Special OZ Racing 10th anniv. edition. These were GS's with all the turbo options except the 4G63. You got leather, the OZ racing rims, turbo wing, and all the works.

ive seen some rs's with the skirt and ive seen them with leather interior but maybe it was a mistake by someone else who put the rs on the back of a GSX-GST... its possible.... yahhh its possible....

Personally I like the Talon side skirts better, the are rolled to the rear of the car, not just straight across like the eclipse.

The early Talon skirts give an odd front-endedness to the profile of the car. Strange effect.

Just to add to the completeness of the answer 95/96 talons came with the coke bottle shaped sideskirts as can be seen in the sig pic above my post. In 97/98 no talons came with skirts.

sorry to jack the thread, but in theory, would lets say 97 gsx side skirts fit on my 97 tsi that has no skirts? Just wondering if the fitment would be off with any variations in the door or something
