2g Radiator Support

can the 2g radiator support come off. I am talking about where the radiator bracking screw into?? Mine has alittle rus and want to sand it and repaint it?? thanks

The support is welded. I had a minor front end damage and needed a new support. I bought one online for like 40 bucks and took it to a body shop to get the old one unwelded and weld the new one in for 250 bucks Ouch! Thats considering i took the whole front end off with just the radiator support exposed.

I only needed the top support. The whole kit requires more parts so it might be more. Still this is the cheapest place i seen and they sell mitsubishi genuine parts.
