edmonton,
Would a 2g ported be better then a stock evo exhaust manifold, I think Im going to get the 2g either way because it will only cost me around $50. Im just curious.

Also what kind of hp/tq gains could I expect?, i currectny have 2.5' turboback, 16g etc... on a stock 1g manifold

minimal on a stock 2G manifold. It will get you some, but nothing spectacular.

Go with the 2G and get it ported if it only cost you that much. Otherwise I would say go for the EVO and port it.

6cm stock, port match it if you need too. It is very simple to grind out 1cm on the manifold. Mark it with a marker using your 7cm flange as a "drawing circle".

so could u still use a stock 6cm unported 2g manifold on a 16g which would be 7cm?, im not a newb I just allways figured that exhaust outlet had to match the turbo exhaust,

The reason why i ask because the exhaust manifild I may buy says "ported 2g manifold", so if its a ported 2g manifold should I just asume that its 7 cm, or would it still work if it was slightly smaller then 7 cm?

Good question, just not for me. Ask the guy you are buying from.

You can just play it safe and get yourself a 7cm gasket anyway. Think about it this way. If you buy a 6cm and the manifold is 6cm than it will flow right into the 7cm housing. If you buy a 7cm and it is 6cm, it still flows into the housing.

BUT.....

If it is 7cm and you buy a 6cm, you now have a lip to dremmel down.

Just get a 7cm gasket and be safe.

Add call or email the person you are buying it from.
