Hey guys can I run 2g pistons with a 1g stock tune? I read a lot of mixed answers and was still wondering I read that the 1g is to aggressive but then others that said as long as everything is stock it will be fine because the 1gs are tuned very rich from stock. Anyone has experience with this?

I have done it quite a few times. I did have some detonation issues with 91 octane, but with 93 it always seemed to work out pretty well. Every setup can have different variables, so you should at least monitor knock with a logger. If you ever get link than it is pretty east to pull a little timing out up top.
