I have been having a really weird problem with my 95' RS Recently. One day I went to go start it up and you know how when u start it it will rev a lil bit before it settles down to its idle. Well mine did but at its peak i heard a cut off somewhat and it came down and started idling like it had 272's in it. Well then i went to try and drive it and it wouldnt rev past like 1200 rpm and had 0 power.
The check engine light didnt even stay on steadily, it just blinked on and off a few times. So I turned the car off and get codes. I got a code for the Crank Angle Sensor. So i went and bought a new one and sure enough when I put it in the car ran fine
Well it ran fine for about 5 days until it did the Exact same thing again. So just being desperate I disconnected the Crank Angle Sensor let it set for a few minutes and plugged it back in and sure enough the car started up and ran great.
It now does this too me about once a week so I have to keep disconecting and reconnecting the crank angle sensor to fix it.
What could it be?>?>??? Any Input would be great!
