2g Mudflaps?

Where can i get some pics of OEM mudflaps on a 2g?

I can't tell, but from the looks of it, using CAPS, it looks like the mud guards. It may be the fender liner. Anywho, I think these are the part numbers:
Left - MR162455
Right - MR162456

Use JNZtunings OEM site and input the part numbers: JNZ Tuning Online- OEM Mitsubishi Parts

Yea i called JNZ and they gave me the part number and everything, I just want to see what they look like first. I remember seeing a post about them but I cant find anything about it anymore.

The part # is aec7yg1b02 for the whole "mud guard set"

How do they mount to the car?

I think its 2 screws and a bolt for each mudflap. I could be off but it's some combination of bolts/screws. Your car should have all the holes necessary for installation, but you might need one screw per flap.

My car had those when I bought it. I think taking them off was the first thing I did to the car.

They look yucky. I almost ganked a set off somebody's car once but I decided not to when they turned out to look hideous.

Do the mudflaps actually perform? I currently have a nice 2 foot arc of dirt and road slime from the rain whipping off my tires and onto sides of my rear bumper. It's hell on the paint.

From those that have the flaps, do they prevent this?

Cole, I was looking to buy a set of these the first year or so I bought the car. But after I looked on another 2G at a local dealership it looked like shit and didn't do jackshit. Isn't worth the money, even if they are somewhat cheap (~20 on JNZ each).

Thanks for the tip, Anthony. I was skeptical since the spray is a fair bit above the top of the mudflaps.

It keeps some of the dirt down, but I still have salt spray from the bottom of the car up to the molding down the side.

My rear ones work great because they are off the 2Ga body. For the ones who notice, the 2Ga rear mud flaps are longer in length, so you can imagine...scrapping all the time whenever you enter a drive way scarying the people in the car. and 2Gb flaps are shorter in length.

alright so the 2 part numbers are for the back flaps but where do we find the front ones?

This is probably an old thread but I thought I'd inform those looking to buy the mud guards (97-99 GS GST GSX) from jnztuning, that they cannot get anymore.
