2G MAF as a blow thru setup?

Anyone ever setup the 2g maf as a blow thru setup? Just wondering because everytime you hear the words "Blow Thru" it is associated with a GM MAF. Would it actually work any better than the current location? What would be the advantages besides venting the bov? Any disadvantages?

wont work. Our stock mas isnt designed to have hot pressurized air being shot through it.

Yes, it's been tried, no it doesn't work. It doesn't like the inherent turbulence, it mis-reads the heated (exanded) air, and it can damage the sensor. It's also fairly pointless other than for obtaining the vaunted psssshhh for the kids, as you're not getting any more airflow through the same-sized hole.
