Hey guys, so this is my first post on this forum so bare with me.

I have a 98 GSX and I am having some problems with a low idle. It only happens when im driving for a long period of time and seems to be happening more often when i am highway driving.

For example if im at ~2k RPMs consistent speed in 4th it will just drop to ~1200-1400. The exaust will also make a low hauling sound.

My friend said it could be something to do with the BOV because the computer thinks that the recirculation is installed and thinks that the air is going back into the engine.

If not that what else could it be? possibly a vacuum leak or something?
Should i just adjust the throttle for a higher idle?

I also have my BOV "ghetto strapped" because there is some wear/melting on the rubber housing on the bottom. Could a loose connection not providing perfect suction.

Boost still pulling fine and its not turbo lag.

DSM noob sorry if my questions r dumb. Thanks for putting up with it. :hellyeah:

Fix your bov leak.
Your bov needs to be looped back into the system so the air is metered correctly.
Do a boost leak test...
