2G leaking grey fluid after drags

After racing my 2g eclipse at the drag strip last night, I woke up to no antifreeze in my radiator line, but my reservoir was full. After filling the radiator line and driving it, the reservoir is still full, as if it's not leaving the bottle. Also, there is a dark grey fluid leaking from underneath the car. I have no idea what's going on with either of these. Any help is much appreciated.

Did your car over heat at all? You may have pushed the coolant out of the system. As for a dark grey fluid that sounds like maybe clutch line fluid or your oil and antifreeze are mixing together. Can you pinpoint the leaks?

No, it didn't overheat. I haven't lost any clutch line fluid, or oil. There's a big puddle underneath. It looks to be that spot in the picture. It's near where the tranny and the engine meet. Just a little behind the oil drain plug.

It looks like the coolant dripped down onto your slave, like a said you may have pushed it out. Has it happened since? All other fluids topped off? Clean the area really good, if it still drives fine I'd just keep an eye on it. Also make sure your radiator cap is on and secured.

I think you're right about the antifreeze being pushed out of the system, but this fluid is thicker than anti freeze.

What does it feel, smell like? There is not fluid that goes in cars that is grey.. Does it have the comsistency of oil? Gear oil?

If it's brake/clutch fluid, it may have picked up some oil and grease on the way to where it's dripping, and turned from clear to grey.

Excessive bearing wear in the trans and a leaky axle seal could leave ya a dark grey mess.

Thank you for the responses and help. My friend who is my mechanic looked at it today, and diagnosed it as the bearings in the tranny. I have to get a new transmission.

I was gonna say, when I took out my trans after it had been grinding like mad crazy, the trans fluid was gold looking from the bronze in the synchros.

Your friend is most likely correct when he says its excessive wear on your bearings. All of the fine silver pieces from the worn bearings are going to be floating in the trans fluid making it look grey/metallic.

That's exactly what it looked like. The oil on the floor was sparkling because of the metal shavings.
