2g Horn fix question

I read the article how to clean and fix the 2g horn buttons and i got a question about the airbag. do I have to take off the battery for 10 minutes or can I just take out the fuse for the airbag (assuming there is one), at school right now so i cant check, also, pencil erasers? anyone confirm that i read it correctly?

The ink pen erasers are what you really want for the job, it's a little more abrasive. And yes it's a good idea to disconnect the battery just to be on the safe side, if you've ever seen an airbag go off you know why.

I don't believe that there is an "airbag fuse" on our cars. But like BISHILVR said, just play it safe by disconnecting the battery from the car, its easy to do and can save you a lot of money if something goes wrong or a wire gets crossed when you're repairing the car.

I have always found the finger gets you better results then a horn does
