My trans shifts great after sitting overnight but after driving around for about 20 minutes it goes into limp mode(only 2nd and 3rd gear) and a CEL comes on. There is also a constant chattering noise coming from the trans that is there whether it is shifting fine or not.
Once this happens and I turn the car off and on again, it shifts fine for about 1minute before it goes back into limp code. It seems to be related to when the transmission warms up.....
I pulled the codes today and came up with: 51, 52, 53, 54, and 86. What might cause the transmission to only shift correctly when cold???
