2g gsx muffler on 96 talon nt

will a 98 gsx stock muffler fit on a non turbo 96 talon esi?

I dont think so, the piping is routed quite differenlty, a popular abd cheap upgrade back in the day was the GST exhasut on a 2G NT. I cant quite remeber if it the whole exhast or just the last muffler portion (seem to think it was the last piece with the muffler), but do some searchs on the GST stock exhaust in the NT forum. I think you will find what your looing for. Plus it sounded good and you can usually tlak a GST owner out of it for $20.00.

You can pretty much fit ANY muffler on ANY exhaust as logn as it will fit underneath the car w/o draggin. The stock mufflers on the NTs are extremely restrictive and the GST or GSX mufflers will give a little less restriction and a better sound. If you can find a GST muffler for under 20 bux then get it but if not you can find much better deals on straight through mufflers on ebay and if you ever get tired of it you can sell it to someone with a honduh for more than you paid for it

i asking casue this kid w/ a 96 nt talon wants my gsx muffler so think it will fit

yea any exhaust shop can make it fit easy, chop the old one off and they will weld the new one on, and make new hangers if need be.
