2g gauges in a 1g

not sure where to post this sorry if in the wrong spot but i search and couldnt find anything im currently putting a 6 bolt in my fiero im using a 1 g ecu and trans and was wondering can i use the 2g gauges and will everything work right?

Are you just wondering if the wiring harness will connect to the back of the gauge assembly or are you asking about fitment?

The temp sensor reads different 1g vs 2g -- If you run a 1g sensor to a 2g gauge the gauge will show a lower temp, not good.

i kind of need to know the oppsite i need to know if a 1g cliuter will work with 2g harness

who cares about that im running an after market i dont use the stock gauge but you could always change the sensor but that honnestly small and can be worked around

what bout the speedo? or will i need the 2g sensor?

im almost positive that the sensor in the trans is the same

1gs are cable driven so you will need to get a 2g speed sensor and run wires to the cluster.
