OK so im pretty sure my fuel pump is going out. Im just looking for a really quick answer, im on my lunch break right now. I have access to a 2g fuel pump, will it bolt right up to the 1g hanger assembly? Are the connectors the same?

Also what about a 3000gt/stealth pump. Are they plug and play? Ive heard you have to zip tie them onto the hanger assembly, but are the electrical connections and fuel line connections the same?

They are not a direct swap from 1g to 2g physically, but wiring and output nozzle location are the same. You'll have to rig the bracket that holds the pump in place as the opposite end of the pump is flipped 180*. I cannot condone you trying this unless you have at least a wideband o2 setup to monitor what's going on, so do it at your own risk. If not secure, you could lose some or all fuel pressure, run lean, and go boom.

FWIW, I ran a 1g pump in my 2g for a year and didn't have any issues. Make sure it's secured with zip ties and/or hose clamps and you should be OK.

I would do it if you already have it. Im sure it can be modified to fit pretty easily. I had to do a little modding to get my evo8 pump in my 1g but no hassle. Plus the 2g is a slight upgrade to the 1g
