2g front bumper

Hey, I was wondering if anyone has a decent picture of the location of the four bolts that hold the front bumper support to the front bumper. I cannot seem to find it at all.

The actual front bumper cover is easy to get off. 5 bolts on top, 2 bolts on each side that go into the fender, and a few underneath for the splash guard and of course the corner lights have to be unplugged. Once it's off, there should only be 4 bolts(2 on top, 2 on bottom) holding the bumper support to the car.

This has been posted a million times. Also remember that there are the two infamous and hard to get to bolts that are under the headlights.... that's the key.

Are you looking for the bolts that attach the bumper to the bumper support or the bolts that attach the bumper support to the car ?

The bumper support will have 4 bolts on top, two in each corner, and 4 under neath, 2 on each side. They are fairly large (1" wide atleast) and are VERY easy to spot once the bumper cover is off. If you need to take the front off, here ya go

I am asking about the method where I would remove the bumper support from the car, not remove the bumper cover from the bumper support. The problem is that I am having trouble spotting the 4 (2 on each side) 14mm bolts in the wheel wells, and I was looking for a little help, thanks

The 2 Bolts you are looking for are located under the car. You will have to lift it and get under the engine. When you look around while lying under it you will see them...only bolts that fit the description.So, once you're under the car, it's rather obvious which bolts these are.

I wanted to know if I remove the bumper support, will it interfere with the airbag system in any way? And in that case.. If it is recommended to do?

why would you remove it? you CAN remove it, but why would you? its a safety device.

if you need to modify it to fit an FMIc, do so, but don't remove it.
