Resolved 2G - Door Moldings differences?

Are the door molding off a 2gA different from the 2gB? I know the skirts are diffent but i was wondring about the door.

Yes, the lower door side skirt on the 2ga is much thicker than the 2gb.

If you run 2gb side skirts with a 2ga door skirt you will notice the door cap is fatter and over hangs the side skirt

Ok. Do the 2GA/2GB use the same lower door molding?

The lower door cladding and lower rocker cladding are different. The 2gb has flat design, the 2ga has larger pieces that are not flat at the bottom.

Ohh ok now I see it the 2ga flares out at the bottom and the 2gb flares in. Tag I see the 2 lower side skirts are different. I didn't think the ones on the the door were.


What about the fender caps? Are those the same on all or different?

Thanks for clearing it up. Its crazy how these parts are hard to find and so pricey.

You have to regularly check dsm classifieds and ebay. I was able to find a nearly intact set of 2gb side skirts and door caps on marketplace from a very reputable seller who took paypal, and I was able to find the missing corner piece on ebay for $40
