2G Car won't start / crank - I've tried everything

Hi everyone, I'm wondering if there is anything I could try to get my car to crank.

Backround Info: Car was stored for the winter. My dad was using the car and he told me one day it wouldnt crank.

What I've done:

1) I took out the starter, brought it to a shop and they said the starter was fine. Re-installed the starter. Car still wouldnt crank. I hear the fuel pump going and the starter relay clicking.

2) I replaced the battery along with brand new terminals. Car still wouldnt crank.

3) I replaced the starter relay & performed the clutch bypass to see if the safety switch it was preventing me to start. No luck, Car still wouldnt crank.

4) Removed all the mods of my car working backwards -> removed HKS turbo Timer, HKS Boost Controller, Cleaned our the engine to see if there is any loose harneses. Removed the radio. No luck on that either.

I'm pretty much stuck. I don't know why the car wouldn't crank. Electronics work. The interior lights light up, radio works, car beeps. It came with an aftermarket alarm which I disabled. The car was working find before the alarm.

Any help would be great or steps I overlooked. I just want the car to crank.

Do you have a voltage tester? If you do take the solenoid connector off the starter solenoid. Stick the end of the tester into the connector, then ground out the other end. Have a friend turn the key to run and get back to us with the results. If the light lights up that's a good thing.

Sounds like your aftermarket alarm. They rewired the starter circuit so you have to undo their wiring - not just disable it. Everyone wires it differently so I can't tell you where but I'd start looking around the starter solenoid and the starter relay (which activates to disable the starter BTW and often is a stumbling block for aftermarket alarms).

Can you crank it by hand? try it out.

Check your grounds also. I had the same problem as you once and i disconnected all the grounds, sanded down both contact points and my car started. Hopefully this will help you out.

how long did the car sit? and did it sit out in the weather or covered?... did you check all your fuses making sure u didnt blow any out?

You answered your own question right there. Go back and re-check the wiring for the alarm. Did you disable the alarm or disconnect it? If you haven't already, take the alarm out completely and see if it starts.

Could possible be the aftermarket alarm or the factory anti theft system if it has one. Anyway; you should check for power at starter solenoid like prev. mentioned. You should also check for power to the starter as well.

hi, i have a 2g 95 eclipse gsx, and when i was going to do my stuff the car start just for 3 second and die. so i try to start it again. and he never came back. so i start to check the spark to see if the problem was that. but i see that my car had spark.. so i continued cheking and see that my fuel rail dont have any fuel. on the system and i change the fuel pump for a new walbro 255 but anyway i got that on my plans so.. i changed.. and then i see that my car wnt start so.. i dont know what to do now... my car crank but wnt start.... i dont hear the fuel pump on and i dnt know if the problem is the relay? can any one help me.... on this problem
