2g bovs suck!!

Ok so i get a boost gauge and a mbc. install both and go for a drive..... frist drive 9psi
ok no problem lets turn it up.... 2nd drive 11 psi... cool im geting some where! 3rd drive...
10psi ! how does one go from 11psi to 10 psi.... did some checking.... stock bov is no good but hey i got a 1g bov siting in the back seat and a uicp coming in to ree on friday (thanks sam!)so that problem will be solved.

lucky you, you got a 1g bov with the UICP. I solved my stock leaking BOV by putting it backwards. I got a 1g bov but no flange.

UIP and 1G BOV probably my favorite mod. Made the car drive so much smoother off boost. Good luck!

Food for thought...if you ever upgrade to a EVO16G without out first upgrading your fuel system, install the stock air box and filter till you upgrade your fuel system. I wasn't able to creep more then 15 psi with the boost source attached directly to the wastegate rod With the apexi I creep to 20 psi. I also have 650 injectors though so either way it doesn't matter

Yeah, that 2g bov is crap. Or you could of got an evo bov and slid that sucker into the stock location. But 1g is also way better.
