2g Black cloth seats?

Did any of the 2g's come with black cloth seats. I am not a fan of my tan leather and was wondering if there were any that came with black cloth stock. Thanks.

Anyone know a good place to find these my buddy has them and has had countless DSM's and have never seen them before untill this car. I want to know what cars they came in so I can start searching for them.

I have never heard of black cloth seats. If they did come that way and weren't reupholstered, they would have come in 99 Eclipse's only.

I've only ever heard of or seen black leather seats in the 99's but not black cloth

My buddy has a white 95 talon that has black cloth seats. I am sure they were swaped in because it has the 97+ dash in it, but back seats and front both are black and look stock. The back seat is obviously from a dsm and fits perfectly and the fronts are the same. The cloth looks to have a similar pattern to other cloth seats in the 2g's, but black. Its actually really cool

Not sure what you're looking for, but there is a company that will make you custom seats for around 1k. I'll be ordering them this winter.

I wouldn't have believed this, but I have seen the seats he's talking about. They were in a '98 GSX. I was very shocked, too. They do exist, but are very, very rare. They had the typical 2gb cloth tribal-pattern, but black on the solid-colored area of the seat.

I've got black leather in mine from a 99 eclipse gsx..... The guy I bought the car from took out the old grey.

That doesn't mean that it wasn't dyed or reupholstered. I'm pretty sure black cloth seats didn't come from the factory.

I did some investigating and I found they were dyed. They look amazing and stock, and did not show any signs of being dyed, unitll I took out the rear seats and saw some grey that had black sprayed on them.

Anyways so they did not come stock, but They do look like it. I will be doing this to mine in the future..

Anyway I am going to make this very simple for all of you, a quick check of ASA/CAPS will tell you that no seats were offered in black other than the 99 leathers. If you are seeing black cloth seats, they are dyed or re-upholstered.
