2g Balance shafts

Been looking for hours but cant find what I'm looking for. How many bearings are there for each balance shaft? I know I could take the pan off and look but want to learn all I can before I start this. If there is like 3 bearings per BS I take it you would have to plug holes in all three or take bearings out and turn them all. I will get the kit for this also.

And then has any one cleaned the bearings with like brake cleaner and just plugged the oil holes with JB Weld? Its not like I will ever put the BS back in.

First off, the best place to start is the VFAQ. The engine has 2 balance shafts. One in the front and one in the rear. The front shaft has 2 bearings which need to be removed and new bearings put in to block off the oil feed. The rear shaft has only 1 bearing, however since the oil is fed through the shaft itself the rear bearing does not have to come out. I would strongly suggest NOT using J B Weld to block off the holes. If you get the bearings out, it is much easier to pop them in again. The bearings must be removed and rotated 180* to block off the passage. Just make sure to read through the entire VFAQ before starting. Have all of your tools, parts and sealers ready as well. The faq will show you exactly what you need. If you still have any questions afterwards, post them up.

I know there is 2 balance shafts and one in the front and one in the rear. My question was how many bearings there are. Ive been in VFAQ and the pictures aren't that good.

Are the bearings in the kit the same as the ones I take out? If so I will just see if I can get the short shaft and turn the bearings that are in it now.
