Resolved 2G Alternator wiring posts

Ok so there is two eye hole terminals on the alternator, the big one has the big white wires going to it but what about the small one? The previous owner of the shell hacked the wiring a little bit and I cant find the other wire.

There is only the white wires that go to the alt and a wire plug, can you snap a pic of what you are talking about?

It's the smaller copper/brass eye hole terminal. I think I read that it is an optional ground but I wanted to make sure, for sure don't want to piss that thing off.
