2g alternator rewire to use with aem ems 4

Im trying to utalize my 2g alternator, because I do not want to go the saturn 1 wire route since I have a perfectly good alternator already. I know Ive seen somewhere a while ago on how to wire a 2g alternator, so its a stand alone/ 1 wire setup. I belive I just put the excite wire back to the + terminal but very unsure. Ive been looking for 3 weeks and I cant find a write up on this anywhere. Any help would be appreciated.

I suspect you could get away with wiring up only pins 2 and 3. The red wire (pin 2) would go to the fuse block, and pin 3 would go to switched power.

Another option for you would be to consider a 1g alternator as that would only require a new connector vs grinding an alternator case/engine block.

Hey, thanks for the wiring info. I im going to check this out tonight to see if I cant figure something out. Yeah Im trying to avoid any kind of grinding.
