Make sure you pull the condenser from in front of the radiator. It's like a brick wall for airflow, especially if it has any crud accumulating on/in it. To do this, unplug your rad. fan connectors and remove the coolant reservoir and pull the fans. Remove upper radiator support brackets and tilt your radiator toward the rear of the car. There are two bolts mounting the top of the condenser to the radiator support. Pull those, make sure your receiver-drier is either disconnected or removed, and you should be able to pull the condenser straight up and out.

The only problem I ran into was getting the lines from the condenser to the r-d to come free so I used a pair of dykes and just cut the lines. Not a good solution if you're thinking of ever re-installing though :cool:
 
Did you guys not read his post? He said he removed everything from the engine compartment...

I have removed everything in the engine compartment and all the lines to the fire wall what else is there? Thanks

There is the AC evaporator inside the HVAC unit in the Passenger's compartment under the dash. I've got a VFAQ on how to remove it on a 1g. Should be similar on a 2g.
