Moncton,
I've seen a few people have done this over the years but what would be the benifit in doing so? Only thing I can think of would be to convert vss to a 2g vss to be able to use the full benifits of boost by gear. This would definately be a bonus.
I don't see that as being enough to justify rewiring the ecu plugs, so is there anything else anyone can think of to make it a worth while swap?

Hmmmm, could this be why I can't get the VSS signal to work properly on the AEM EMS on my 1G? I'm not interested in boost by gear, but mostly raising idle speed when the car is rolling, like the factory ECU did. Plus it would make interpreting datalogs a little bit more simple.
