I am going to install a 1300 box in my DSM

I will have a AEM 3.5 bar map
AEM temp
AEM boost contorl
AEM wide band
1000cc injectors
Aero FPR
Walbro 255.

Is there any suggestions or tricks to installing this system. I know some people have already done it and i would like to hear any advice that you would have. (i don't want to hear go get dsmlink because it does not do what the AEM EMS does) I would like to know if i can take the wires for things like the stock boost control and use them for the AEM boost control or do i need to run all new wires for that stuff.

I really don't want to cut into the factory wiring.

Any help would be nice.

Or i guess i will just figure it out as i go with the manual.

You should be able to use the factory solonoid wiring to run the boost solnoid . You may also be able to use the Maf wiring for the map sensor and intake air temp sensor . you just need to make sure the wires are going to the correct ecu pins.

Its all plug and play, from what i have been told and such AEM is a VERY easy straight foward plug and play install.

You will be fine.

I too will be running AEM EMS, but it will be the last thing i purchase in a few weeks since its one of the last things to be installed.

However, i will be using an Apexi-AVCR for my boost control, i have been told that it can be a pain to manage boost with AEM.

But my setup looks similar.

AEM 30-1300 box, 3.5bar map kit, their IAT kit, and 1000cc injectors, 255 walbro, aero FPR, and stock lines/rail, i will also be using their meth kit.

:thumb: For going with AEM.

No Meth kit for me i am just going to run E-85 if i want to turn up the boost. The car still has the stock motor in it with 210,000 so i don't want to kill it yet. The car is just a fun toy for the wife to run around in.

I am going to ring the wires to make sure i get both ends of the wire. I might have to do some reading on the boost control i think it should be simple as long as i am not trying to do boost different based on map or speed or gear.

I am just going to set a bar or psi and let the motor eat.
