Alright, so my husband is out of town, and I was told to post on this site to help me out.

About a week ago, I had a tranny leak, my clamp came off that was holding the hose on. We fixed that problem, and put more tranny fluid in it. Monday, my car wasn't shifting correctly, and soon after my check engine light came on. I took it and got it checked out, it read P1781 which I found out it was the O/D Pressure sensor circuit.

Put more tranny fluid in, and in an hour my check engine light went off.

Check engine light came on today, I was fine on tranny fluid, but low on oil, I put more in, went and got it scanned again. Threw off these codes.

P0732 - incorrect second gear ratio
P0734- incorrect fourth gear ratio
P0700- Transmission Control Module Signal
P1781- O/D Pressure Sensor Circuit

I drove for while, and put more tranny fluid in my car, and 3 hours later my check engine light went off.I know in the mornings when it's cold, it takes awhile for my car to go into gear. I have to keep hitting the gas a little before it will catch and hold. But that's the only problem I've had out of this $800 craigslist find 8 months ago.

I've tried to find out what could be my problem, I've seen several people. But they don't know much about DSM cars.

Any ideas of what could be wrong? I know I have tranny issues somewhere. But why would they go off when I put more fluid in. Also, I need to hear what kind of transmission fluid I need to be using. I've tried searching on google, and going to different Auto Zones, and O'Reilly's. But they don't seem to know exactly what to tell me.

Any help, or information is greatly appreciated! :D

2G, non-turbo

What type of trans fluid did you use. If I were in your situation I would replace the sensor on your trans and see what that does. It could be bad and throwing false codes.

I'm not to positive on it at this second. My husband picked it out after doing some research he found that it was said thatit could be used in the car. I need to get it fixed as soon as possible, my husband is just out of state in school right now and I have no clue how to go about fixing it. But my friend looked at it and agreed. I know that there is a Mitsubishi junk yard in Florida that im going to look at and see if I can find one. Hopefully she makes it out there! :)

Let me know if this fixes your problem if not then I'll brake out my manual. But I think this will fix it.
