Hey everyone. Is there a way to get the ECU to stop looking for the 2nd O2 in the exhaust. Basicly want to do this for emissions inspections. I have the DSMLink, and i dont use it anyways, so no reason for it to be there.

Thanks

i remember reading that ecu+ has a feature that will mimic the 2nd o2 sensor but that doesnt help you much because you have dsm link. if you dont have a cat how do you plan on passing emisions anyway.

from what i heard, u can unplug the battery and let it sit for about 15min...then go to emissions test but, then again...your better off buying stock one on unless u still have your other one...thats hwat im doing....

wait im sorry i thought u were talkin about CEL.....LOL n/m... however yes there are o2 simulators for about $50..jus buy one and tap it in...

simulators, hmm ill look into that

i have a cat on my car by the way.

then is your 2nd O2 sensor not working and that is why you need a simulator?

What the hell Jerry? I don't even understand your question.

You won't pass an emissions test if you have DSMlink set up to ignore the rear o2 sensor, which I know you do, but I thought you had a cat....and if so why don't you just throw a rear o2 sensor on there? Rob and or Justin has the one I pulled of the car when I put the wideband on...use that.

im going to throw one on to pass the inspection, but i just want to get rid of it all togeather for futures issues.
