264/272 hks install

After doing the install, car at idle is only pulling 10hg of vacuum and not the 18-20. Car runs fine but I just wanted to know has anyone else had this problem?

Checked for vac leaks and nothing.

I just called my friend that has the same cams and he said that is normal. I told him you are now running about 10 instead of 18-20 and he said sounds about right.

why though? just wondering how one affects the either, scientifically and phsycially?
