Do you guys think I can squeeze out to 280hp? This is all at 16.80lbs of boost, with about an AFR of 11.6 to 11.8...

This is done with an EVO III turbo/FIC 650/EVO III Exhaust Manifold/2.5" O2 Eliminator/2.5" downpipe to 2.5" hi-flo to 3.0" Greddy EVO Catback/190 Walbro/ACT flywheel & 2100/FMIC, just to name the major mods...

What you guys think? Or is that basically it for me on making power?

Thanks...

what are you using to tune with?- that AFR seems iffy, and no tune is no bueno!!!
with Link, and 650cc, evo3, and a good tune ( more boost) why couldn't you break 300whp

also try rewiring your FP, or upgrading, and tune your fuel pressure with AFPR. 650cc/evo3 can handle way more boost than that (21~23) if its well tuned!!
DSMLink, saves lives, and cars ( don't ask....)

There no reason you couldn't be running 20psi, but when you do go higher I would bring the AFP down closer to 11:1.

20psi should net you a nice increase in power. :thumb:

Ha...Jeez, talk about Lean....

20psi should nail you the 300whp with a tune for 11.0-11.3 a/f...I personally stay above 11.0 at all times, but most people dont usually have my kind of problems, ha....

What dyno was this on? Some will consistently read lower than others (dyno dynamics, mustang dyno, etc). Have you ran any track times? Trap speeds and/or airflow are usually better indicators of what power you're really making.

Yah. I my fuel pump is rewired.. As for the dyno.. It's the type of dyno that you have to take off your wheels and they dyno it of your studs of your rotors...

I should go back one more time and boost and tune it up a lil bit...

19-20psi on my car with an EVOIII 16g, 91 octane, an afr between 10.5 and 11.0, and a peak of 16 degrees timing with my keydiver chipped ecu got me slightly over 280whp on a dynojet. I ran the car like that for over a year with no issues. The same tune at 20-21 psi and an afr between 11.0 and 11.5 got me 264 whp on a mustang dyno at Full Funtion (I don't remember the torque for either dynos but it was near the hp numbers). If I can find my printout's I'll post them.

So it can be done. :) It's not hard to do either. My fuel setup is like yours. FIC 650's, a Walbro 190lph pump... other mods similar to what you listed.

Too bad my car doesn't run that well these days. Im puttin around with low boost trying to figure out why it likes to knock and pull timing if I try and have any fun (and sometimes just cruising on the freeway). :( booo.
