I'd be a little weary of any knock with that much cylinder pressure, personally.

As far as the head gasket, I'd just run it with the knowledge that it might not hold. If it doesn't, no big deal - your other gasket is on the way. Just make sure you don't hydrolock the engine.

The 6 bolt cap bolts are very strong actually. If I could do it again I wouldn't waste my time with ARP headstuds, I've seen a few stretch. Not to say they are bad, but you may want to push the 1g's to the limit, as they are very thick, opposed to the 7 bolt headbolts.
Your tune will be more detrimental to blowing a HG then anything.

I've learned from reading on here and from people blowing engines that detonation and all the bad stuff engines dont like are what stretches head bolts/studs and blows head gaskets, along with melting pistons. Just remember not to exceed stock torque specs on the bolts/studs. You can distort the cyl walls. I've read about people on here using 80lb/ft+ on ARPs. like its gonna save you from blowing your engine and head gasket from a bad tune or something :|

at what RPM's are you getting that knock and timing advance? Is timing dropping to 17 as soon as that knock hits? I'd try and tune it out if your timing is getting retarded. Try and get it around 20 deg and it should pull much harder.

at 5281 to 6125 rpm its 20 deg timing and from 6200 to 6563 it drops to 17 deg timing.its weird at 4400 to 5844 knock is 5 and then goes to 3 at 5844 then to 2 counts peak at 6563.

My stock 2g gasket and studs see 28-30 when i feel like popping for race gas. This is on my 114k motor. No coolant pushed on the dyno either.

One a side note, I don't see how people run big boost with an afc.....
