so i currently have a ported evoIII and this boost creep problem is absolutly killing me... i can gunn my car without having to hear the damn profec spec II warning signal going off ... its constantly hitting 23psi ... at this point the only solution i have is to get a bigger turbo ... my mod list is in my profile, and was wondering if i have supporting mods to enjoy a 20g turbo ... i know they have a 20g w/ a TDO5H housing, and a 20g with a TDO6 housing ... i will probably be leaning towards the internally gated TDO5H since i can use my current o2 dump and wont need to invest in an external wastegate ... would my denso 660cc's be enough? im sure my stock 3kgt vr4 fuel pump would need to be upgraded probably to a walbro 255 ... but other than that... are things lookin good ? ive used the search button and learned that the the TDO6 housing would not bolt up to my exhaust manifold / o2 housing ... and have read that a TDO5 would bolt up fine.... ? let me know what u guys think ... :dsm:

Before you try anything else look at this communication GReddy...

To whom it may concern;

I installed your PRofec B-spec II and it seems that when setting the Warning to 24 PSI it will activate and engage the Limiter even thought my Peak Boot is only registering 21.5 PSI. Do you have any idea on what might be causing this to happen.

Their reply:

Actually I have heard this problem before. If you are using the PSI mode, we have discovered the early models have a small bug. Although the Set boost and other functions work fine in PSI mode, the limiter function stays in KPa mode. There for the quickest fix is to set your limiter in KPa.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

X psi x 6.895 = Y
24psi = 165.5 KPa

Me: I already have the limiter set to 240 how will setting it to 165 solve the problem?

To make a long story short -- their solution did not work and I had to learn to use the PRofec B-spec II in KPa mode and it works great... I made this chart to help me with the settings... It may not post correctly, so email me if you want a copy of the excel file.
