20G external wastegate

Ok, I'm running a 20G turbo on my gst. can anybody tell me what size waste gate im suppose to get?

Are you going internal or external?
If internal, stock WG might cause some creep which could be taken care of if you port the turbine housing the right way.
If external, 38mm should be fine. Just remember these guidelines:
big turbo/low boost = bigger wastegate
big turbo/high boost = smaller wastegate
small turbo/high boost = smaller wastegate
small turbo/low boost = bigger wastegate

Explain what? The guidelines? It is what it is, guidelines.
Generally the more boost you run, the less of a WG you need. For example, person 1 has 20g, medium size turbo. He wants to run like 30 psi. Take person 2, also a 20g, wants to run like 15 psi. Which person do you think needs a bigger WG to control his boost? Naturally, person 2. He's dumping more exhaust out to keep it at a lower psi than in comparison to person 1 who's at the turbo's efficiency range and probably won't generate much more creep.

Also you can never go too big of a WG. You can go too small. However, the bigger it is, the more costly it'll be. There are different flanges and everything. A 38mm is a nice WG size. For a 20g, you can have a wide range of boost pressures. I'm running WG spring pressure of .5 bar on my 50 trim right now and it will never creep. If I wanted to, I could adjust it using the AVCR and hit 25 psi.
