Since my first race is coming up this Saturday, I thought I would post my intended race schedule for 2011. This is the current plan:
5/21 - Milan Dragway Saturday Shootout Series (OLS - 1/8mi)
5/28 - Norwalk IDRC
6/25 - Milan Dragway Saturday Shootout Series (OLS - 1/8mi)
7/30 - Import Showdown in Mongomery, Alabama
8/21 - Norwalk 19th Annual DSM Shootout
9/24 - Milan Dragway Saturday Shootout Series (OLS - 1/8mi)
10/1 - Milan Dragway Saturday Shootout Series (OLS - 1/8mi)
The Milan races are in their OLS class (Welcome to Milan Dragway), and we are 99.9% likely to be the only FWD car present and also probably the only car with less than 8 cylinders. It is 1/8mi racing and the quickest cars are in the high 4's, which is low 7's in the 1/4mi. We definitely won't be able to hang with the quickest guys, but shouldn't embarrass ourselves as long as things are working reasonably well. Stop out and say hi if you make it out to any of the races.
