we all have goals. your goal is to win shows. woohoo. that's not my cup of tea but whatever. my goal is to run a 12 second quarter mile. so our goals are completely different.

now about the honduh.. i know the car sucks. i bought it a year ago as a temp car until i got some money togther. now i have the money, and i will be getting 1g AWD sometime within the next month. the honduh has been great so far. i drive it like i hate it and it keeps it's shite together. so for what i wanted the car for, it was a great buy. i also don't post pictures of my car because i'm not stupid. who tha hell wants to see a stock prelude with a faded paint job? nobody. so who the hell wants to see an eclipse with 20's on it? obviously some people, just not me. you don't have to act like a girl about it and get all defensive. you should have known when you make a car that outrageous that some people aren't going to like it. does it really bother you that much?

(and for the record your car is the only car i've bashed on the forum.)

In dummy terms.:laugh: you don't belong here. How can you meet your racing objectives by downing/bashing somebody's girlfriends car that is a showcar anyway
Smooth976 I think you are just jealous because you wish you had the money they used to do their non-performance mods to do your performance mods. You need to stop hating on others. Your ideal of tasteful exterior mods sounds just like the boring professors that I had in Automotive Design School. Borrrrrring! Tasteful is another way of saying don't do anything different. You are so boring man. I hope you do make your car fast because you will NEVER HAVE STYLE!!
I hope you study all day and all night because there are a lot of guys out there with fast Preludes and Turbo AWD DSM cars, but when you customize a car you have a better chance at being truly unique if it is done right. When it is all said and done. No body will remember your 12 second boring car and there will always be people to remember and try to outdo Smackdown's girlfriend's Eclipse.
You are so mad because you don't have their money to fix your stuff up. Pray about it man and work your ass off..........quite hating so much. I await your full of sh$%% reply.........................................

actually i was linked here because people were talking about how stupid it was to put 20's on an eclipse on another DSM forum. so i guess i have no style. so what? i only want a car that's fast. if you only want a car that looks good, then i have no problem with that at all. but i am allowed to voice my opinion.

If you want a real fast car IMO it shouldn't be a ridiculously modded $20,000 Rice car to begin with. Get a C5 and let Mallet engineering fix it up. I don't thinkyour plain DSM could deal with that. Sleepers make me fall asleep. Point is you can have your opinion, but have an intellectual opinion and don't be a jerk towards others. Why come to a Forum and rank on somebody else's car. What is the point to purposely try to piss them off. I don't care how fast you make your car somebody will always still beat you too. You are still jealous because you don't have their money to fix yours up. Get over it.

hell, if its a show car and a show car only, i would say go for it. ive seen bagged nissan pickups with a 4 inch body drop roll on 22's and ive never seen anything cooler. but, i love lowriders and flashy wheels too. i wanna see some pics when its done.

Looks nice. You got what you were going for and that is what counts. I like how people get on you for having huge wheels for an all show car, yet nobody dogs on Shep for having a huge turbo for an all race car. Oh well. One wants to look good (which your car does) and one wants to go fast (which Shep does) and I don't see the problem with choosing your camp and going all the way.

Yes, you will need to lengthen your drive shaft, make custom mounting points, have custom suspension built, have the wheels and tires made, and then buy a rope ladder to get into the car.
