Frostbyte - Also, where you come from....most show cars are only on the road a few months a year. Dont most (true) Buffalonians have a winter and a summer car?

I know a lot of guys that turned their "summer car" into the show car, and ended up driving the "winter car" all year round.

Just my observations from my few years at Canisius.

Thanks guys and Quwhees the wheels and tires costed me 2700 to my door.The originaly were gonna be 2900 but when ups came they were 2700 so i can't complain there.

I think 19" is the biggest an eclipse should have. I don't like chrome either, but I guess it's good if it's a show only, non daily driver.

ugh. why don't you stick some carbon fiber NAWS bottles in there too. you know to actually get the cars acceleration on par with a school bus.

when will they start judging shows based on what actually looks good on a performance car. that car would look so much better with some Fikse wheels, or anything performance oriented for that matter. if you got $3000 to spend on wheels you might as well buy some that are nice. whatever. i think it sucks.

Don't need NOS, besides it turbo and its a show car.Its pretty fast with the wheels on it, i'm sure it slowed me down but i don't give a rats a**, besides pull that prelude beside of it at a show or a track and we will see who wins, i'll even keep the wheels on it at the track if you want.

The car is mad sweet. I like your wife's style. The 20 inch wheels are not overkill just really UNIQUE STYLING!!!!!!!!!!!! I am sure many people out there would love to have a car as decked out at that one is . The only criticism I have is why do you ask these guys what do they think??? They never like anything but the strict "clean" racer look. They always say.......anything with style sucks or is ghey. They don't like wings, no graphics, nothing, but speed related items only. Anything stylish is a waste of time. This makes no sense to me especially since we are in the Forum specifically for body kits, wings, interior mods etc. I think that they get a kick out of downing everybody! Ever since I got on this page...................I have never heard of them saying something was a good style except for not changing anything at all. So the absence of style is doing nothing.....okay .
Like I said before your wife has great style and nobody should say that you should never put 20's on an Eclipse if that is your style. Also it doesn't necessarily have to be Ghetto style either. Is keeping the normal style wheels on "white boy" style??
Is everybody on this webpage supposed to have the same car with the same black/grey wheels? Is everybody on here supposed to be just a racer? Or can we all have different tastes and likes for asthetics? Some of you guys on here really need to broaden your horizons quite and bit and see beyond your limited imaginations. It is nothing wrong with saying you don't like a style, but you are crossing the line of "in my opinion" when you say you can never do this or never do that. Think about what you say................

um, i think a lot of us like tasteful exterior mods, and his car really isn't that bad looking considering all of the other crap out there. i still think it's doodoo though. oh well, i'm sure this guy isn't going to lose sleep over the fact that i don't like his car. but at least he knows he has a little buddy that will defend him.
