I want to 2 tone my eclipse like some of the talons have. What grit sandpaper should I start out with? And if anyone has pix please share. And tell me how you think it would look on barcelona pearl red.

What are you using to paint, where are you doing the painting at? This sounds lime you first tue. Trying something like this and it seems you have a lot of research to do before you ruin your look.

The auto club I'm in has a spray booth, so I wanna give it a try. I've painted fenders and bumpers but they were already primed LOL.

Technology is great these days for many alternatives. Check out color wrap for automoblies. If you don't like it you can peel it off.

+1 Wraps are fairly affordable and they look really good especially for not being permanent.
Some one on here wrapped the top for the 2 tone look and you can't even tell its not paint

i like the blue/black 2 tone thats on my talon my friend has it on his 98 eclipse and it looks great

If the auto club you're in has a spray booth they know how to paint, ask them.

+1 on wrap, that's the route I'm thinking about going with my 240. Bang up a panel, replace and rewrap just that panel
