2 quick questions

First off, how hot is the air that comes out of everyones 1g DSM. Mine is like not even lukewarm, like if you are chlled and you turn it on it feels like just a fan blowing normal air. Second for AWD owners, in the rain can you spin all of 1st and some to all of 2nd gear? I have a major boost leak and am only hitting 7 psi and i can iniahlate(SP LIKE WHOA) the tires 1st 2nd and sometimes a lil of 3rd.

what air are u talking about ? exhaust? ifso is it stock with all the cats and all that bs or what?

what turbo/ wastegate do u have? stock 14b is supposed to be 10-11.if its 7 psi and u ahve a boost leak thats real bad. the turbo has to work ALOT harder to make htat 7 psi and it goes out of its efficiancy range. I would pressure test it.

we can spin them in the rain, my car will chirp second dry if i shift too aggressively..but whats the point?

I was refering to the air from the vents. the climate control. It doesnt seem warm enough to do much of anything. I know i have boost leaks. i have fixed abour 4 and the EGR is leaking since it has no vacuum hoses on it. I was going to pressure test it for the 5th time today but the cops showed up and i had to deal with them. I was just curious if something was wrong with my car other than boost leaks since it will spin then like crazy. i knew all 4 where spinning cuz it was torque steering and fish tailing at the same time(coolest feeling ever) just wonding if the limited slip was burnt up or if the cars even have them but i guess its normal

What kind of shape are your tires in? A stock car can spin them with bad tires.

What does your temp guage read when it's warmed up?
If the temp guage reads right in the middleish I would make sure all your linkage is hooked up right for your heater and A/C. It could be it's not going all the way to hot or a vent is still open or something.

yes it reads middleish to sometimes a lil more.....i know the engine is hot. I dont know if the heater core is clogged or the gates arent opening....my guess is the gates since i have some leaves in my vent pipes cause i can hear them rattleing
