first off i have a 96 gst. bone stock except being lowered. and i have a camber issue...was seeing if their was a prefered camber kit people would suggest or whats up on the subject. any opinions would be great. if it helps any im lowered on eibach pro sports....and a little more info. my front tires are wearing down on the inside and only about an inch an a half.......and the rear is the same way.

my next issue is theres a tick in the motor. im assumeing lifter tick but just looking for opinions on the matter. the tick comes and goes. gets faster(not louder) whenever you accelerate...i did a royal purple oil change on it to see if it may have just been old oil issue....but no still ticking. i have a youtube video which can be viewed here YouTube - ‪96 gst lifter tick???‬‏

any info on either subject would be great. thanks dsm'ers

lifter tick for sure, mine did that alot. sound would move around to different lifters. at start up it was the worst, then after warm up it wasnt so bad. as for the camber problem, you will need camber kit. i wont say which brand is best, but will say dont buy a cheap ebay item. you get what you pay for. most camber kits do the same thing.

For your camper problem, youll need something similar to this > Mitsubishi Eclipse FWD. Pro Alignment Kit (1995-1999) (Eibach: 573620K)up front. And for the rear you'll need to do something like this >> http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/handling-tech/382869-2g-gst-rear-camber-fix.html Pretty easy stuff really. Just remember to get an alignment right after though, I had brand new tires on my car when I lowered it and they lasted all of about two months and they were trash before I had the alignment done..

Yeah, 3rd gen revised lifters are better. As for your tire wear issue, have you gotten your car aligned yet? In the front you may not even need a camber kit, and the rear, simple bolts and washers can fix it. Just a simple search will net you great results. Many members will offer their vast knowledge on these cars as long as they see that you do your part of searching first.

Okay cool thanks for the opinions. I pretty much knew it was lifter tick just wanted to get some other opinions before I bought the 3g revised. And I know how to fix camber issues . I'm just new to the dsm world and was looking for the good brands people are using. I know better then to buy eBay performance parts. I only use eBay on things that aren't that important . I have had an alignment done and it didn't fix it completely. So does anyone have a brand of camber kits they'd suggest to buy or....? I'm looking the at eibach kit just seeing if there's better.
Once again thanks for the confirmation on the lifter tick.

For the rear you don't really need much more then the bolt/washer combo. I'm not running a front camber kit myself, I don't see a huge need for it to be honest, if you are looking to do any sort of racing such as Autox a little camber isn't a terrible thing. But It will eat your tires eventually.

That is also lifter tick. :thumb

Well my cars a DD so I gotta get it lined out. I'll post closer pics of my wheels to show the camber in them. It's not horrible but its bad enough to make my tires junk. I'll get pics tomorrow showing the camber of front.and rear and what the tires actually look like. I'm seeing that bolts/washer combo will fix the rear as most have said here and that's exactly what I'm finding over the net. And yeah I assumed it was lifter tick just wanted to know for sure before I bought anything. But ill post the pics tomorrow around noon so if you guys will keep an eye out for them so u can comment about it as you see it that'll be awesome thanks
