2 Easy mods!!!!!!

First mod:

Im not sure if this only works in the 2G RS and GS, i dont see why it wouldn;t work in all of em, but i dunno too much about the other models. If you remove the center consol panel, i think thats wut its called, so u can see all the wiring from yer dash, lights, etc. Look for 2 sets of wires running into a white rectangle box. I think it has yellow wires. The 'white box', is actually 2 plugs, that control the clutch safety mechanism. Unplug those, and place some electrical tape over either side of connecters (to provent accidental connection) and u can now start your car without using the clutch.

Second Mod:

Thsi was just an idea, has anyone thought of using those neon licence plate frames to light up the center peice of the tail lights? seems like it could work. Just a thought tho.

most peeps use led's to light up teh center piece...you could prolly get away with some smaller neon tubes though.

Does a remote starter sound familiar?? Bypass all teh schenanigans (sp?) for the clutch and you can remotely start your car...Handy if you are in the northeast or jus wanna let your car warm up while you are getting ready.

Now i remember why i don't like posting, or reading, this board...Peace.

I don't recall him mentioning anything about a remote starter, just an "easy mod". With his mod, he would still need to get in to start the car. Would you be that lazy to perform a mod so that you wouldn't need to engage the clutch at start-up?

well you can buy a remote start for manuals. I have one its called mannix alarm system. They sell on ebay and arent that expensive.
