2 BOVs go bad in 2 weeks?

I blew my t-25 a couple of months ago and decided to just go with a 14b. Everything seems to be running fine......then about a a week and a half ago my BOV (1g) started sounding louder and louder, almost like I was venting, and I could tell a noticable loss in power. I checked everything and I didn't have a leak, so I changed out my BOV for another 1g that I had. Presto, everything works ok again, so I'm thinking "It just must have randomly gone bad". Now the SAME thing is happening again! Why would this be? Did I just happend to put on a weak BOV or something?

Maybe it is not the BOV, check some other areas to make sure you dont have a leak somewhere else.

If you didnt know the other BOV was working maybe it isnt.
Try a new one or one you know is working.

Well, it sounded like I was venting, and when I replaced the BOV the problems/sounds went away, so I'm pretty sure that was the problem. Could it be because I'm running too much boost? I'd tell you how much I push.....but.... I don't have an aftermarket boost gauge. I know, I know, I need to be bitchslapped. (I should be getting one sometime next week after I get paid.)

WOW I beat Oldman to this. DO a boost leak test. Maybe consitor a crushd bov.
