Toronto,
Hey guys just finished installed new tranny car doesnt seem to want to start i put some gas in same almost starts. Any ideas what the correct way of priming or starting a car that has been sitting for a while? thanks.

check and make sure its getting fuel, and spark.

Fuel: turn it over a few times pull spark plugs out smell for gas

spark, pull spark plug wire off, put the electrode thats inside the wire against a metal surface, have someone else turn the motor over watch to see if it arc's.

also, since you mentioned you installed a new trans, you may have had to unplug the signal wire from your MAS (airbox area) check and make sure it is plugged in.
