I am looking for a high flow cat that is 2.5" in diameter for my N/T 420a. My catback exhaust system is 2.5" and I am having trouble trying to find one that is 2.5". Could someone point me in the right direction?

I have one but i don't think its 2.5" i bought it 4 years ago, Never put it on and now I don't need it and now one wants it! Its still shinny as new!
I was thinking of cutting the ends off and seeing how well 3in ends would mount up!

But other than that, i would watch what you might buy on ebay as most of the "highflow cats" are actually resonators! Which I actually have one (2.5" too).... somewhere.. wow i cant remember the last time i saw it! weird! :/

And what is this link all about???
not sure if you meant too but it isn't anything to with the exhaust at all! :/

Its a link to extremepsi on their high flow cat which the OP was asking about.

Ebay if you don't have emmisions testing..Summit might have them as well..

In Virginia we don't have emissions testing except for Northern Virginia (Fairfax, Alexandria, etc).

I was looking at Ebay as a last resort. However on Ebay, I did find 2.25" for the N/T and I found 2.5" for Turbo, which those had o2 sensor bungs on them, which to me, would be useless since I already use both of my o2 sensors. Could I use a turbo high flow cat and just weld in or cap the o2 sensor bungs?

Magnaflow sells a good high-flow cat for our cars. It's only 2.25" but doesn't restrict much (at least with mild-tuned car, ie. NA or below 8psi boost). Got it from eBay dirt cheap, it was like 70-80 bucks or something like that.

Edit: Mitsubishi Eclipse Magnaflow Catalytic Cat Converter | eBay

Ok, but will that fit considering that I have a 2.5" exhaust? I'm thinking no obviously.

I did, however, find this high flow cat, but it is for turbo and it is 2.5" and has an o2 sensor bung. Would I be able use this high flow cat and not utilized the o2 sensor bung?

I was going through this same issue the other day. I ended up just gutting my Cat and putting it back on. I have a 2 1/2" cat back as well. So far I've driven about 1,000 miles and still have not thrown a check light. Performance wise it's nothing noticeable, if anything you can sort of feel it when you shift. Sound wise it didn't make too much of a difference. It's not really that much of a PITA to gut it yourself. I used a bench vice, scrap metal rod and post hole driver and went to work. Hardest part was getting the metal mesh out and that only required grabbing it with pliers and pulling.
