1st Generation - Intake Manifold

No offense but if your mod list is current your still stock.
Spend your money on something else.
Your going to need the other stuff to get full potential out of that intake manifold.
So you might as well do it now your car will thank you for it.
Trust me follow the upgrade path in the tech/diy section at the top of the site.

my car is so upgraded i dont list like that ### i dont want any people commin and stealling my car i dont brag about stuff like that so know can u guys answer me....:talon:

Im sorry but we can help you decide if its good for your car or not without knowing what you already have.
Some parts dont get along with eachother.
But to answer your question dejon has a decent rep for dsm's and its a decent price so I vote yes.

Obviously you'll need to change your IC piping. Oh, and find a new place for your coilpack. Depending on what you've taken out, some of the wiring behind the stock manifold may get in the way. You'll also need to re-do your vacuum lines, given that the stockers go through a multi-piped section on the bottom of the stock manifold.

So no. It's not bolt-on-and-go, you'll need to do more work and research on how to get it to fit.

Also, putting your modlist in place shouldn't exactly risk whatever you have, given a lack of pictures, no address, and so on equating to a total lack of any kind of identifiable characteristics on an internet forum.
Short version. If you don't have a fully built shortblock, ported head, bumped cams, race springs and valves, larger injectors/pump/AFPR, proper fuel managment (as opposed to some crappy SAFC like the 2G guys have to put up with), a FMIC, larger turbo, full exhaust, wideband O2, coil-on-plug setup, and maybe even a nitrous rig... you have FAR better things you could be spending that money on than an intake manifold. The 1G stocker is NOT a bottleneck until you're putting down half-grand or better numbers.

And if you have to ask if it bolts on with no other mods, I'm willing to lay even money against your actually needing it. Generally, when you're to the point where you actually *need* an SMIM because you're just flowing THAT MUCH, you've been so intimately involved with the build of your car that you don't even need to ask.

I'd have to some what agree with talesin There many more thing to spend your money on...you don't have listed anything besides STOCK ...So theres no way to tell you what good it would do you...But it IS close to a stock bolt on A few feet of vacum line if you have charcole canister. and theres no EGR so it you live some where with DEQ it may be a prob. but besides that If you don't have Coil on plug, they CAN come with a mounting place for your coil pack. and wiring isn't a problem I had.
If you do Get one one if you have any Q's on how to I'd be glad to Help you.
