Ok so im buying a head with 1mm oversized valves with stock spings and retainers, SS exh studs, and a P&P. If i put a set of 272's in will i see a significant power increase as opposed to stock cams. And do i need to port the intake manifold? My current mods are FMIC, Manual boost controler, Evo GT manifold 2g o2 housing and 3in turbo back.:dsm:

Youre going to want to port match the head to the intake for the smoothest flow.

What are you going for here? Top end? Low end? Drag? Street? Road course?

What turbo are you running? If youre running a 14b, you dont even need all that, especially the 1mm oversized.
If youre revving the crap out of a 2.0l with 272s, you may want to look into stronger springs, lighter retainers.
Not to rain on your parade, but throwing a bunch of high end part the biggest you can find doesnt mean the most power.

To answer your question, you wont know until you hit the dyno. I wouldnt see too much of an increase with just a 14b.

Ok so i need to port match the intake to the head and as for the turbo im running a 14b right now i am planning on going 20g. Im not looking to reving past 7000rpm's anytime soon and i want a streetable car that i can take to the track and run decent times.
