1gb Front End Conversion.

I can't find much information on this....

I have a Talon...I have a complete 1gb Eclipse GST front end. I HATE the Eclipse bumper.

Can the 1ga Talon bumper and grille be used with the 1gb headlights and fenders?

Also, is the side bracket for the corners absolutely necessary or can I rig the sidemarkers to stay somehow? I don't know how I'm going to get the bracket off from a junkyard car.

You CAN NOT use the 1ga front bumper and grill with those lights without modification. Which, after mod'ing will look horrible, at best. (just my 2 cents)

Also, I'm not sure exactly what your trying to ask about the corner markers? Are you saying will the 1ga corner markers stay on a 1ga car without the little white plastic parts that hold the side markers on or what?

Guess the Eclipse bumper will be going on until I can get my hands on a 1gb Talon bumper.

And no, there is a small bracket that is spot welded on that the corners bolt to. The 1ga's is different from what I have read. But I'm wondering if that bracket is absolutely needed or if I can bolt a piece of aluminum rod to the 1ga bracket and then bolt the corners to that or what.

hey man if you can get a hold of winfields salvage out my way, they might be able to ship ya a front bumper. they have a lot of 1gb's there.
