Toronto,
We finally got some 1ga lips cut. These are the same as the 2gb lips we made. Material is 1/4 inch ABS and are extremely durable. The lips do not step down and reduce ground clearance.

We are still doing some homework on it, but are thinking the 1ga Talons and Eclipses are slightly different. If anybody knows anything about this, please chime in here. Right now we can only say these will work for 1ga Talons.

It looks great! Now if only there was a lip for the 1gb Talons. I really want a front lip for my talon bumper when I get it.

Do you have any pics of the bumber and lip on a car?

Unfortunately not, our 1ga bumper donor has his car up on stands for winter projects, so we wont be able to get any pics on the car for a month or so.

1ga = 90-91
1gb = 92-94

There are now lips for all 1gs :thumb:.

The lip attaches to the bumper with bolts. There are already a number of holes on the bottom of your bumper that are used to attach a metal bracket. You use those holes and make a couple of more on the sides and thats it. I wrote up a step-by-step instruction for the installation, if anyone wants to see it let me know your email and I will send it to you.

The price for the lips are listed above. We have 4 of these at the moment, and will be selling them first come first serve. It will be around a week and a half before we will be ready to ship the 1ga lips, but if anyone wants to 'reseve' theirs now with a deposit, send me a PM.

You know... it would look a lot better if it didn't stick out so much on the sides. As little as possible actually. For Aerodynamic purposes, It's only the front that matters anyway. Having it sticking out on the side so much just makes it look odd and unrefined... something I never liked about the RM piece for the 2Gs.

Thats a matter of opinion. I think the fact that it sticks out on the sides gives the front end a wider and more aggressive appearance. I know Ive had a lot of compliments on the same style of lip thats on my car. In terms of aerodynamics, I dont think thats what most people are after when they buy a lip and I think it would take a pretty seasoned driver to even feel the difference a lip would make. They basically protect the bottom of the bumper and look really cool :thumb:.

That may be so for the front end, but if the wide stance isn't carried through the rest of the car, it just looks half-assed. I am not critiquing your product. In fact, I think it's pretty cool that you are doing it and offering it to people. Just pointing out something that you might want to consider offering as an option... if not, ABS plastic is easy enough to trim and sand down.

It's great you get the lips done but keep all pricing private.

I'd like to see some installed pics from the side when somone gets a chance.

I can take some pics from the side this weekend, but it will just be of the bumper again. We are going to try to recruit some locals to brave the cold and bolt one up to their car to get some real pics.

Im in for one around spring time when I get some money in. Ive been waiting for someone to make one. Looks awesome!!! Thanks

send me an approximate price please

Looks like a full bumper to me:confused:

I am also very interested but concerned that you don't know whether it will fit a 1Ga GS-T.

If you can confirm that it will fit a GS-T and can at least give me an idea or pic of application I will get one.

I assure you its not a full bumper, if the bumper was any other color than black it would be more clear. The problem is that there are literally no 1g Eclipses here, so it will be next to impossible for us to test fit one. Just from looking at the two bumpers, they look very similar, but I cant make any promises on fitment on an Eclipse.

Maybe I am retarded but I am having a hard time picturing this. Is your picture of a full bumper WITH your lip on it or that whole pic is the lip?

A lip is just that... a lip; the flat piece attached to the bottom of the bumper and protrudes outward.
