1G 1ga Headlight doesn't go down Help

I have owned ALOT of DSMs but never a 1ga. I turned the headlights on the other day and they popped up, but when I turned them off the didn't go down. Any suggestions?

Was your pop up switch in on the left of the gauge cluster?

What I mean is there is a button on the left side by the dimmer is that pressed in?

Check the threaded rod that connects the motor to the headlight mechanism. Sometimes they like to pop off and would need to be adjusted.

It wasn't the button or the rod. I pushed some wires out of the way to check the fuse and they suddenly went down. I guess I have a loose wire or short somewhere.

Also, you might check for anything that may be interfering with moving parts. I've had mine get stuck on the back edge of the bumper, or the bottom part of the plastic trim surround on the headlight.
