1g what is this?

I was redoing my mbc today so its not tee'd off with the bov and I found this. What is it? Do any vacuum lines need to be hooked up to it? It's up above the smic.

Yup think so too! And yea there suppost to be 2 lines hooked up. Search around pretty sure you can fine where they go or how to delete it.

Yep its the stock BCS.

Its suppose to be deleted when you install your MBC.

To delete it at this point just unplug it and toss it in the parts bin (or the trash) It will not throw any check engine lights/codes.

If you already have a MBC you can just leave it where it is or like already said, dump it in the trash can.

It's not required for the stock gauge. The ECU "estimates" boost and displays this "estimate" on the stock boost gauge, it has nothing to do with the BCS being hooked up or not hooked up.

Yes, I believe it just controls stock boost levels, depending on altitudes and whatnot.
probably anywhere between 8-12 psi...
