1g tranny parts into 2g

hey guys well i've found tons of stuff on 1g and 2g auto to manual swaps but i'm looking to find if 1g parts for the swap will work for the 2g. i know the 90-94 tranny will work for the 95 but i need to know about the starter, cables and other misc stuff. i have a 1g parts car that is a manual so i can get the parts from there for the 2g. i need to know for sure cuz i can't have that much downtime for this project. thanks

I just did this myself, took all the parts out of a 1g and put em into a bellhousing out of a 2g. Get ready for a headache, and if you arent super mechanically inclined, I'd get a trans shop to do it for you. Also, be SURE to use the 1g xfer case, the gear ratios are differant but match up with the 1g guts. Have fun! hehe...
