1g spoiler fade?

I'm looking at a 90 Talon TSI AWD and the spoiler is faded.....like a dull black.....compared to the roof which is like a gloss black. Is this normal...or should the spoiler be a gloss too? I know in 92 the spoilers were changed but not too sure on what they were changed from...to. The 1gas had the 3 piece wing that stretched to the mirrors and the 1gbs had the spoiler that was the color of the car...not black.....right? And what would cause just the spoiler.......nothing else on thise car to fade?

Because it's black plastic, and not painted metal.

The spoiles are normal, but if you want to make them glossy, just buff it. just like what i did with my 90.

The spoiler from the 1ga and 1gb eclipses is the same. 3 piece but doent go all the way to the mirrors. the paint is the same as the car.

1ga talon spoilers are 5 pice and goes all the way to the mirrors. all these cars spoilers are black.

1gb spoilers are only 3 piece. they are smaller and covers only half of the trunk but they have more g force. the color matches the car as well.
